Well, let’s talk a bit about me.
Hmm, when I think about me, it’s hard to write some useful information. On one hand I think about, what information I have to tell you and on the other hand, which information could be interesting to you.

So I’m just going to start:
My name is Markus Fritz as you see and I hope you even know. I was born on January 3rd 1987 in Munich. Munich is a city in Bavaria (so it’s in Germany) and it’s also the capital of Bavaria. As some of you know, Munich is the city, in which every year the well known Oktoberfest takes place. I think it’s also the most beautiful city in Germany.

Nowadays I still live in Munich. I really love this city! Well, I also went to school in Munich. I finished secondary school (it’s called ‘Realschule’ in German) with the training program business.

After that I had to fulfill my conscription in the German army (in Germany the conscription takes 9 months). So I came to the German airforce. After being 4 months in the army, I started to like it. So I commited to the army for 13 years. At the moment I am asoldier for more than 2 years and I like it every day even more!

As you see I had a normal school way and a unusual job. But why I am designing and coding websites? It all began in winter 2004. There was a course for making websites in school, so I thought “why not?” and took part. It was a course for only learning the HTML basics to make some simple sites. After doing that I started to like it. So I made this my hobby and started to learn even more, like for example CSS. After that I was able to create simple static pages. I also started to learn to use Adobe Photoshop to make graphics for my website.
After that I wanted to reach higher goals like dynamic websites. I learned PHP with MySQL and Javascript. Today I am learning to use AJAX with frameworks like jQuery and mootools.
I also learned to build 3D models, which is also a great hobby for me. I use Cinema4D as well.

Another hobby of mine is to make maps for games like Counterstrike:Source. In this field I started with Quake3, went to Doom3 engine and then I finally reached the Source engine of Valve, which I prefer.

So that was a lot of information about me. I hope that I haven’t bored you too much.
